This the Tamiya offering mostly oob. The after market items used were the True Details wheel set and Eduard's seatbelt set. Paint used is Model Master enamels cut with white by 20%. I added some scratch built details to the seat and used the Waldron punch and die set to punch out the instrument dials. Brake lines were formed using electrical wire.

I opened the ends of the exhaust stacks with a #74 twist drill. Brass tubes were cut to simulate the machine gun barrels. As I am not a big fan of using decals where paint should be, I lightened some red and tinted royal blue with euro gray and white for the tri-color on the tail. The white on the vertical and horizontal tail stripes were just ever so slightly tinted with black, I removed the "vulture" from the kits tail decal with a scalpel and laid it on top of the painted stripe.  I used the kits yellow decal over the muzzle openings as a mask and sprayed yellow.

I used sprayed two coats of Future before applying decals supplied in the kit. Then after a panel wash using Winsor and Newton oils another two coats of Future was sprayed. Weathering was kept to a minimum using pastels on the exhaust and cordite residue. Minor chipping using a silver pencil followed by three coats of Model Master acrylic dull coating.
