This aircraft was bought by Italy
to Spanish Nationalist Forces. Planes arrived in Spain in August 1937 flying directly
from Italy. Maybe the most important bomber of the Spanish Civil War,
saw many action in different fronts and one like this, belonged to 3-G-28
squadron.

The SM 79, "Sparviero"
for Italian people, was known in Spain like "Jorobado" (humpback)
The kit is an 1/72 Airfix and I
did some modification to create this version with dorsal turret. The
landscape in the background in my photographs is painted by me too.
