May I present my AMT P-40N.
It was built from the box with the exception of a Falcon vac-form canopy, and a
D/F loop from scrap. The painting was done with a Tamiya acrylics sprayed
with a Badger "Anthem", and used some post-shading. Markings
were from Sky Models sheet 48-047.
The model represents a P-40N of
the 25th FS flown by Lt Fred Burgett from Yunnanyi, China in Summer 1944 .
It carries the 25th FS's distinctive Dragon's teeth marking on the nose, and on
the rudder a bee insignia representing B Flight.
