The Kit
Hobby Craft have supplied the modeler with a very basic kit, but don’t be fooled....it has nice detail on the wings and fuselage. The cockpit is not bad, but does lack some detail. I don’t know what’s out there in the way of aftermarket parts to suit this kit. Hobby Craft have supplied two sets of decals for the American Volunteer Group.

Construction
This model is built OOB with the exceptions of the seat belts from Eduard's American seat belt range and the stretched sprue for the antenna wire.

The kit goes together very well with minimal putty, filling and sanding, it has to be one of the easiest kits I have ever built with very easy to follow instructions, an eight year old should be able to do a reasonable job constructing this kit.....it’s that easy.

Paint and Finish
This kit was finished off using the Humbrol paint range, with a chipped affect and some pastel was. It’s finished off to resemble AVG P-40 Tomahawk/Tiger Shark of 3rd Sqn, Rangoon, Burma, 1941.
