Convair F-102A Delta Dagger “Deuce”
In a move from my usual WWII aircraft, I have started building my stash of 1:48 scale Revell/Monogram, Cold War Century Fighters (F-100-F-106). This colorful “Deuce” was inspired by a photo sent from my Dutch modeling friend and ARC contributor, Kees Kuyper.

Tail number 61032 was actually 61052, acquired from the Greek Air Force by the Militire Luchtvaart Museum at Soesterberg, Holland, and displayed as a U.S. Air Force, 32 Fighter Interceptor Squadron F-102A stationed in Holland during the mid-1960s. The Deuce was a large interceptor aircraft carrying a lot of fuel and a bomb bay with up to six AIM-4 Falcon air to air missiles.

The model was built out of the box and the decals were from Findekals, but I masked and painted the tail colors. Paints were ModelMaster enamel with a final semi-gloss coat over the decals.
