Looking through the Internet, I found pictures of this plane and knew I wanted to build a deformed version.

I started with a resin detail cockpit set from RetrokiT. It was specifically made for the Meng Model Spitfire kit. Brass tubing was used for the machine guns. Decals were after market for the 1/72 scale kit and slightly modified to fit. I had to bash another kit to get all the parts needed to build this, but it was worth it to complete the build. Because of it, I decided to build the P-51 IAF kit which I will submit too.

While this is in no way scale, it is never the less a fun and relaxing build away from the stresses of building a scale kit. I just need a break some times.
