Hello dear friends,

This is my SBC2-5 Helldiver, as this version of the Helldiver doesn't exist at 1/48 scale, except a very old model (mostly a toy) from Monogram, I used the Pro-Modeler kit SB2C-4 as base.  To pass from a dash 4 to a dash 5, I modified the bomb bay which is longer, created a new cockpit for the pilot and modified the propeller (It's the same than the P-47N but I was unable to find an examplary...)

Another modification was to use Cutting Edge folding wing set, I didn't use resin pieces which were very poorly moulded, so I preferred to build them with evergreen profile and other stuff...

My Helldiver's markings are an aircraft from Flotille 3F of French Aeronavale in 1954 during the Dien Bien Phu battle.

Hope you will like my model.

Best regards.
