This is a Hasegawa 1/32 F-104G/S Starfighter converted to a CF-104 Starfighter. Thanks to Ironman who sold me (very EXTREME good deal) the kit and photoetch. Thanks to ALF18 we sent me numerous photos he had of the real thing. Also of course Dave at Leading Edge who sent me the decals some time ago.  Just had to wait for the right group build to come along, which put everything together nicely to make this model happen.

I chose the simple green scheme for one simple reason, I already did the other two post 1975 versions in the big scale.  Also I chose the airframe number 104751 as it goes in line with my past two builds, 104749 and 104750. 104748 crashed in the 60s, so that was not going to work. The kit came with numerous types of add ons, most were used but some are being given away to share the wealth. The airframe I modeled was indeed a member of 439 squadron in 1976, just used artistic license regarding the squadron symbol on the tail. Could not find proof it was on the real thing.

Also included are a couple group shots.
