This F-14A Tomcat
model was built in the mid '70s using parts from two different kits.
The cockpit, seats,
gun, gun bay, radar, fuel tanks, and wing fold rear seals were scratch
built along with other small parts.
The stabilators were
part of the fuselage on this kit. They had to be remove and pivot points
built.

All of the colored
marker lamps were molded in using LiteBrite pegs.
The model was
finished with Testors Gloss Paint mixed to Federal Standard paint chips, Pactra
Flats, and MicroScale decals.
This model has
some damage from 25 years of storage in a leaky attic.
