F-14 Tomcat VF-1 with
LED Flicker
I'm enjoying 1/144
scale models, like SWEET, PLATZ, Revell and so on.
This is my latest work, Revell 1/144 F-14 Tomcat VF-1 Wolfpack, and I made with
a LED
flicker device for engine lighting.
Eikoku
Zakkaten's nice resin MARTIN
BAKER GRU-7A with PILOTS
are used.
Dorobouhige's
blog will be helpful for making the LED flicker device and circuit
diagram.
I drew VF-1 decal data and use ALPS MD-5500 Printer.
Here is a 5 minute Movie
about how to build this model, it is easy to add blinking LED's.

The "pad eye" on
the flight deck were molded using "Easy
Welder" and my
original engraved attachment. Other additional work is Flap down of
course, Scratch built Engine nozzle, Airbrake in the open position, Movable
arresting hook, and so on...
Much work was needed, as anybody can easily imagine :)
I
wish to express my gratitude to Revell for offering this awesome kit that should
be loved.
