Hi, = my name is=20 Jared Rose, and I've been a regular visitor to ARC for several months = now, but=20 I never had anything worth sending in. I spent the weekend at = the=20 Winnipeg International Airshow though, so now I've got some=20 stuff.

This = is the RCAF's=20 CF-18 Airshow Hornet, decorated in honor of the Tiger Meet of the = Americas in=20 a remarkable tiger striped paint scheme. I don't have any real = detailed=20 shots, as the aircraft in question was flying in the show a few hours = later=20 that day and they were really just showing the paint scheme. (I = was lucky=20 to get inside their cordoned-off area for some of the shots) = There's a=20 good overhead shot at http://www.winn= ipegairshow.mb.ca/performers.html ,=20 but it's not mine, so I'm not going to send it in.

I've = got 27=20 pictures, in the best order I could get them into.

1: just the=20 front half of the aircraft.

2: the=20 corresponding picture of the rear half.

3: a shot=20 down the right side of the plane (pilot's right)

4: Same=20 shot, but a lower angle to see the underside of the wing=20 root.

5: Shot over=20 the right tailplane, one of the small fins on top of the=20 plane.

6: Outer=20 tail art. same for both sides.

7: detail=20 shot of the tail art text.

8: a shot=20 down the (pilot's) left side of the plane.

9: The top=20 of the plane, showing the white stripe running along = it.

10: bottom=20 of right wing. both sides the same.

11: bottom=20 of right wing, this time the flap. both sides the=20 same.

12: inner=20 tail art. same on both sides.

13: Nose=20 gear with a bit of the front gear door. more on that=20 later.

14: Main=20 gear wheels with neat hubcap thingy.

15: Powering=20 up the Hornet, just before the show started.

16: power=20 cable entering the plane.

17: aircraft=20 number on nose. left side.

18: pilot's=20 name, under canopy.

19: warnings=20 under the canopy.

20: more=20 warnings.

21: ladder=20 warning labels.

22: left=20 Nose gear door, with crew names.

23: paint=20 scheme designers and painters, left side fuselage just ahead of the=20 exhausts.

24 Details=20 of the nose, the charging cable socket. left side.

25: a bit=20 further forward, a spotlight. left side.

26: pitot=20 tube and grill, just ahead of nose gear doors.

27: finally,=20 a little Tigger plushie sitting in the canopy right beside the=20 HUD.

These may not be=20 properly sized and all, but it's all I can=20 do.
