• Bob Silva Jr. starts off our week with his 1/48 Academy MH-60K Blackhawk.  This is part 4 of Bob's article on his MH-60K Blackhawk.  Bob has been quite busy and attentive on getting the details just perfect on his Blackhawk and his articles are always a treat to read and see all his work. 

• John Green has dropped by with his 1/72 Hasegawa F-106 Delta Dart.  John built this one almost out-of-the-box except for a few improvements.  The Eagle nose art is quite interesting and I'm sure there must be some great story behind it.  Nicely done John.

• Gianni Chirico joins us from Italy with his 1/72 Italeri Junkers Ju.86 E-2.  Gianni finished off his Ju.86 is markings from Stalingrad in 1942.  A very nice build with some well done engine exhaust weathering. 

• I have a review of the 1/48 F-15C Alaskan Gamecocks decal sheet from Two Bobs Aviation Graphics.  This decal sheet permits you the option of 4 different F-15C from 19 Squadron in Alaska. 

• I have a review of the 1/48 scale F-16 A/B/C/D Fighting Falcon Decals for the Republic of Singapore Air Force from Siam Scale.  This sheet permits you to build 8 different F-16's.  I meant to review this decal sheet for the Singapore National Day on Sunday, but ran out of time.

I just got back from the Abbotsford Airshow........had a great time and met some very friendly ARC regulars.....it was a hoot to meet these folks.  Blue Angels and Snowbirds put on a great show as usual.  Photoed some static aircraft.....sort of slim pickings this year...no cockpit photos due to rain and pilots sitting in the cockpits making picture taking rather diffucult......saw an F-14 fly for the first time.  I got almost no sleep last night due to the large Singapore update and I'm quite exhausted.....so I'm heading off to bed.  I'll get the updates back on track for Monday.  Thanks everyone.

• Francisco Colaço starts today with his 1/48 Eduard Thulin D that he converted from a Morane Saulnier type L.  The markings are Finnish markings.  A beautifully delicate looking aircraft.

• Laurent 'Angus' Beauvais   is here with one of the more oddball looking US aircraft....the SNECMA C450 Coléoptère MIKU.  The bottom end looks to me like an old wringer washing machine.  Laurent did some very effective and skillful work on the Bare Metal Finish.  

• Thang Le is here with one of my favourites....a winter 1/48 Otaki Fw-190 A-8.  And he built it with the old Otaki kit......I have this kit and after seeing Thang's I really starting to think the Otaki kit could be a very fun build.

• I have a review of the 1/48 P-38G/L Struck by Lightning Part 1 decal sheet from Cutting Edge Modelworks.  This features 3 different P-38's...all with noseart....including one with very beautiful Nudie Nose art.

• I have a review of the 1/48 F-104J Komatsu Starfighters decal sheet from Two Bobs Aviation Graphics.  Now you can build very colourful Japanese F-104's!!!

My main hard drive in my computer locks up constantly (every 5 minutes) and made yesterday's update impossible.  I'm working on reformatting another hard drive to solve the problem in my computer.

• First up today.  I've learned that Arrogant Bastard Beer is brewed in the San Diego area.  They have a funny website as well. www.arrogantbastard.com

• Ivan Pliopas starts today with his beautifully done 1/48 Monogram OS2U Kingfisher.  Ivan finished his Kingfisher in Mexican markings.  He's also included a great article detailing the building of his Kingfisher. 

• Bill Staudt is here with his folded wing 1/48 Hasegawa A-7E Corsair II.  Bill used a resin cockpit and other goodies to finish his very nice Corsair II.

• Darius Aibara is here with his 1/48 Cessna 150 Aerobat.  It's always good to see some civilian aircraft to add variety to things.

• Dmitriy Shapiro is here with his 1/144 Minicraft Tu-22M-2.  A very nice build on this Russian Bomber. 

• Creighton L Henthorn Jr is here with a story and photos of his recent experiences with Task Force Tarawa in Operation Iraqi Freedom during Gulf War Two.

• Gianni Chirico begins our week with his 1/72 Hasegawa Focke-Wulf FW.190 D-9.  This Dora is finished in the markings of III/JG-54.  Looks good Gianni. 

• Joshua Stockdale is here with his Gulf War 1/72 Italeri A-6E Intruder.  Josh folded the wings and added a weapons load to his Intruder.  I very nice example of this famous little bomber.

•  Yusof Zakaria is here with his 1/48 Otaki Corsair.  A very good looking Corsair from the older Otaki kit.  Yusof used plenty of effort to get the paint job looking just the way he wanted it. 

• Francois Poulic is here with his  1/72 Hasegawa Su-27B Flanker.  You did a Beautiful job on this one Francois. 

• I have a preview of the upcoming 1/48 B-1B Seek and Destroy decal sheet from Two Bobs Aviation Graphics.  This sheet features 3 B-1/s from Operation Iraqi Freedom....one of them is the planes that tried to kill Saddam.

• Justin Davenport got his hands on the 1/48 Tamiya P-47D Bubbletop and he's sent in an In-Box review of it.  This is a long awaited kit and is sure to generate sales.

• Chuck Holte is here with his 1/72 Resin RQ-4A Global Hawk from Unicraft.  Chuck goes into some excellent detail about this aircraft as well as the building process for his model.

• Erwin Macalalad is here with his first model since taking up this  the hobby of ours.  This is his 1/72 Academy Hawker Typhoon Mk 1b.  Erwin also added some weathering to his Typhoon.

• Kaan Gök is here to WOW the jet guys with his 1/48 Hasegawa F-15J Aggressor.  This is typical beautiful work from Kaan.....everyone loves Aggressor schemes. 

• Lynn Ritger is here to celebrate the Swiss National day with his 1/48 Tamiya Bf 109E-3 in Swiss Markings.  As most of you know....Lynn is quite the expert on the 109 and he's provided some in-depth info to make a correct Swiss Bf-109E. 

• Sinuhe Hahn is here with his second article of the day....also devoted to the Swiss National Day.  These are his 1/48 Hobbycraft Me-109D and 1/48 Tamiya Me 109E in Swiss markings.  Sinuhe provides some history behind these planes.
