| Sunday, Aug 3 2003 E-mail Virus warning!!! |
No update today. I've been backing up files and reformatting my computer.....a regular thing I have to do every 3 months for my high use ARC machine. Minutes after I got the computer up and running and before I could download the virus detection program.....my computer became infected by an e-mail worm virus (W32/Klez virus). If you have received an e-mail from me in the last 24 hours....just delete it. This is not a "serious" virus that deletes data or causes serious problems. I'll be spending a few hours doing a virus scan and removing this virus from my computer. My address book is empty....but somehow this e-mail worm virus was able to send out e-mails. My apologies everyone.
The ARC website is NOT infected....this is strictly an e-mail virus....unrelated to ARC.
