Book
contents:
This
book contains the most updated and complete history of the South
Vietnamese Air Force, through over 20 years of existence, ending with the
Fall of Saigon on 30th April 1975, the event which marked the end of the Vietnam
War and the start of a transition period leading
to the formal reunification of Vietnam into a communist
state.
It
sheds new light
on the events of the war
in Vietnam. When reading
this book we
can find a lot of
new information, majority from
North Vietnamese
archives and publications
perspective. So that in the book
there can be found pictures taken immediately
after the fall of Saigon,
with VNAF
aircraft and
helicopter wrecks in
the streets and on the rooftops.
Beautiful
30 colour drawings made by Ugo Crisponi present to a reader previously
unseen profiles of the aircraft from the final stages of the war. The
total of 294 black and white pictures, some of them never published before
represent the 19 years and 180 days of Vietnam war from the VNAF
perspective, suplemented by 117 colour pictures.
This
book is compiled with previously unavailable documents that have emerged
from official North Vietnamese archives, and also with the assistance of
narratives from dozens of participants and eyewitnesses, this volume
reveals that air warfare over Vietnam did not end with the last day of
April in 1975.

Conclusion
It is a really great book about the history of the South Vietnamese Air Force and it is highly
recommended.
I would like to thank
Harpia
Publishing for providing me with this product sample.
