Here's your chance to own a very colourful F-15 Eagle.  The three F-15's featured on this decal sheet are the same jet but in different markings while it was  with three different squadrons.  This F-15A with the 58th TFTW out of Luke AFB, AZ has eye popping red and white Candy Cane stripes on the wings and forward fuselage and has 3 different fin flash markings depending on which squadron you choose to model.  The red and white stripes are included as decals.

These aircraft were painted in these Candy Cane markings to make them more visible while training pilots in Air Combat Maneuvering (ACM) when they were being trained in the Eagle.

The aircraft are the following:

  • F-15A Eagle, USAF S/N 73-0103 with the 58th TFTW F-15A's out of Luke AFB, AZ, Dec 1975.

  • F-15A Eagle, USAF S/N 73-0103 with the 58th TFTW F-15A's out of Luke AFB, AZ, Oct 1975.

  • F-15A Eagle, USAF S/N 73-0103 with the 58th TFTW F-15A's out of Luke AFB, AZ, July 1976.

There are enough markings on this sheet for one complete jet with options for the aircraft while it was with three different squadrons.

The instructions are clear and include 4 views of each aircraft.  The decals are beautifully printed on 1 decal sheet.  Paint codes are called out in FS #'s, Testors MM, Humbrol, Gunze Sangyo and Xtracrylics.   There is a notation on the decal sheet telling you which ejection seat to use if you build this F-15.

The references for this decal sheet were kindly provided by Jim Rotramel and this sheet wouldn't have been possible without Jim's help.

The F-15 has always been a great looking jet and the addition of these red and white Candy Cane stripes will give you the option of having the most colourful F-15 at the next model show.

This sheet is available through http://www.twobobs.net/ and select US Hobby Shops.  Overseas customers can purchase these from Twobobs site or through Twobobs network of overseas distributors.
