Here's a review of a new release from Twobobs.  This sheet features two very colorful F/A-18C/D model Hornets from the USMC!

The Death Dealers of VMFA(AW)-225 as well as the Death Rattlers of VMFA-323 are represented on this sheet. Enough stencil data is included for both aircraft and there are also two sets of stencil data included for the Litening II Targeting Pod.

The following jets are included:

  • F/A-18C BuNo 164698 with VMFA-323 Death Rattlers at MCAS Miramar in Oct 2008

  • F/A-18D BuNo 165684 with VMFA(AW)-225 Death Dealers at MCAS Miramar in Oct 2008

VMFA-323 has specific Death Rattler markings on both their intake and exhaust covers and these are represented as well on this decal sheet.

The instructions are clear and include 4 views of each aircraft.  The decals are beautifully printed on 1 decal sheet with one smaller insert decal sheet.  Paint codes are called out in FS #'s, Testors MM, Humbrol, Gunze Sangyo and Xtracrylics. 

Both of these jets contains some great looking squadron artwork which will look good on a finished model.
