Sheets like this are why I look forward to every new release from Eli at Zotz DecalsThis new decal sheet from Zotz Decals includes markings for two different 1/32 P-47s that served in the European Theater of Operations.  Boht of these P-47 Jugs have eye catching paint schemes and noseart of sexy ladies on the engine cowlings.  The first aircraft is an aircraft that has never been featured on a decal sheet.

  • The first aircraft is P-47M-1-RE 44-21199 "Josephine/ My Flying Machine" flown by Lt. Leo Butiste with  the 62nd FS, 56th FG, Boxted, in January of 1945.  This aircraft includes sexy noseart of a nude blonde.  The aircraft sports a green and blue camo pattern with bright red engine cowl ring and yellow rudder.
  • The second aircraft is P-47N-2-RE "Dallas Blonde" flown by Lt.  Don Kearns, with the 319th FS 325th FG, Celone, Italy, March 1944.   This aircraft includes sexy noseart of a blonde in a  tight body suit with 2 chrome six shooters and a cowboy hat.  This plane is overall Olive Drab with Neutral Gray undersides with bright red engine cowl ring and a black and yellow checkered band around the engine cowling.  There is also black and yellow checkered tail and horizontal flying surfaces.

The instructions are clear and include 3 views of each aircraft.  The decals are beautifully printed on 2 decal sheets with a  third decal sheet containing the sexy noseart and all the tiniest lettering is crisp and clearly printed.  One complete set of stencils is included on this decal sheet.

There is nothing quite like the American fighters of WW2 with their attractive noseart.

Steve

I would like to thank Zotz Decals for providing me with this review sample.
