My
"projects" are a breeze as I tend to avoid short run kits.
Nonetheless, every now and then I venture into the world of "blessed
kits" because they present unique features and a great potential
for complex camouflage schemes.

Such is Classic Airframes'
Savoia Marchetti S.79. While better than the contemporary Trumpeter kit,
it is a challenging kit to build.
The worse part was
revealed during the photo session. Although dimensionally correct, it looks like
a model. But then, most Italian aircraft do.
