Here
they come: another 3 Mustangs of my collection – hope you´re not getting
tired of it ...

First
of is a Hasegawa-Kit finished as Maj. Richard Peterson´s “Hurry Home
Honey”. It is build OOB with EagleStrike Decals. The D-Day-Stripes are
handbrushed which was quite horrifying – it´s not that easy to get a good
paintjob with Tamiya Flat White! But I am very astound of how it went out!
Second
is my little trouble-kit. A Tamiya Model with some aftermarket products in it. I
used the Aires Cockpit and Wheel-Bay, the Ultracast Early-Mustang Tail, True
Details Tires and Decals from Mike Grant (which were a gift from Jim Anderson
who runs www.cebudanderson.com). It
is finished as Capt Charles K. Peters “Daddy Rabbit” – I think it is
obvious why I wanted to build this plane – but no, we are not related. ( In
fact my grandfather changed his family name during WW2 from Przinda to Peters
– don´t know why but it sounds much better!)

Third
is once more a Tamiya-Kit OOB with Cutting Edge Decals. Finished as Maj Pierce
W. McKennon´s “Ridge Runner III”. There is nothing important to say about
this model – it was a relaxing build during a holiday of mine last year.
I
really do hope, that you´re not bored with my Mustangs – because there will
be some more in the future!
All
the best from Germany,
Kai
