My good friend Mike Steiger flew F-16s for a number of years. I thought about what type of pumpkin to carve for Halloween this year and this is what I came up with. The outline of the F-16 was cut out of the pumpkin skin (not the rind, it was left in tact). The afterburner blast is actually cut all the way thru to the hollow center, just behind the nozzle. The rest of the flame is cut just like the plane.
