The newly tooled Hasegawa P-40E
is an excellent kit, but it
needs some putty and sanding effort for the seams of the
multi part design fuselage.
It's built mostly OOB except for the “Tally Ho” PE gunsight, “Ultracast” resin exhaust
set and moving part of the
“Squadron” vacuform canopy produced for the AMT kit.

The painting was done with the “Gunze Sangyo” acrylics. I've
used Neutral grey for the lower surfaces and Dark earth with Dark green for the
upper surfaces.

After
an artist oil paint washing I finished
it by applying Gunze Sangyo
flat clear.
