When the first
batch of Flankers arrived in Indonesia, I was so proud about that. So I had
a plan to make one. My reference is based on magazines and newspapers, and
mostly the great help which came from my best friends Alex, Iwan, and Andre (Thanks,
Brothers).
I chose to make
the SU-27SK, so I chose the Academy
1/48 Flanker to start with. This Academy product doesn't need more modification
for the Indonesian Flanker. the contents of this kit have a good quality
and good detail.

There are some
problems in the wheel wells to make it more accurate. Besides that, the work
went well because the fit of this kit is quite good.
From the
information from Iwan and Alex, I had no trouble with the camo pattern. So
the next process was painting light ghost gray and intermediate blue. For the decals,
I used "Scale Nutz" decal
which has already issued 1/48 Indonesian Sukhoi (Thanks God).
This baby was
finished in about 3 months. Sooo...... yihaaa..... my Sukhoi is completed!
Nb: Thanks For
Iwan and Rachman for the photograph.
