The kit was assembled out of the box with the addition of spares box aerials and "lumps and bumps" to represent those of the E-model - a sliver of sprue of suitable diameter was faired in to represent the nose cannon. Patches were also added in various shades of grey to represent a "war-weary" paint finish. Underwing stores came from the spares box including two Walleye guided bombs from a Hasagewa weapons set - not sure if this is correct for VA-72 but I wanted to use these so there you have it. Decals are by Superscale sealed in with a matt varnish overcoat.
