History:
The Me 163 was one of the most unusual airplanes of World War Two. It was an experimental rocket powered fighter and even so it was put in combat.

It obtained relative success, and it ended up being the fasted airplane of the war. The Komet flew so fast that B-17 belly gunners were unable to follow it because the ball turret couldn't rotate fast enough.

Model:
The kit is produced by the Japanese company Hasegawa, which is a company well know for excellent molding. The only flaw would be the fitting of the back with the root of the wings, that is cutting the flaps and ailerons.

Painting:
The Me 163 wore various paint schemes, but almost always using the same colors. In this case I did as the predominant color, the Light blue (RLM 76)(FS 35622) with some sectionsin Dark green (RLM 82)(FS 14110) and Violet brown (RLM 81)(FS 34102). The spots for on the fuselage were also done with these colors.
