The seat was refined somewhat, with the addition of seat belts!

The rest of these photos show the finished model.  The model is now ten years old, and still looks like new.  I used some Micro Scale decals, and used the kit decal for "Republic XF-91."

I spent nearly 1,600 hours building this model!  Too much time on one model, but I have a super-duper model!  On several occasions I displayed the model at contests, with the kit model.  My display notes said: "This is the kit, and this is what you can do to it." YES! It was a show stopper, and won a few awards like first place, best jet, and first place in Miami, Florida at the IPMS/USA NATIONAL CONVENTION IN 1990.

As all of you know, I use to build models for clients.  This model was for me, but it's for sale at a mere $10,000.00 U.S.  A lot of money for a model; (Right ?).  But not much money per hour; (Right?).  I've sold a few models for more than the quoted price above!

P.S.  To many of my modeling friends, they say:  "We know Rodney."  "Sand down to 2,000 grit, paint it with "S n J" trim it out with Tamiya!"  They are right, as that's what I do best!

Happy modeling, and hope you like the review of the XF-91.
